"Some customers in New England, Virginia, Louisiana, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas may be unable to access webmail."
Could this be why I am unable to send e-mails? But I can read e-mails. I am even receiving new e-mails. (Buy what I also don't understand here, is that I'm able to communicate via lj. What's the difference?)
"Technicians are aware and working toward a resolution. There is currently no estimated time of repair. 7/21/2005 9:51:40 PM"
Somehow that doesn't inspire confidence.
I'm torn between feeling stupid ... and just waiting and hoping the problem will fix itself. Maybe I'll just go to bed.
I'm off to OK City in the morning. It's not been a great week for order writing. Maybe tomorrow will help. Maybe.

It's sounds like they know there's a problem, but haven't been able to diagnose it yet, hence the lack of an estimate. You can't say how long it will take to fix something until you know what you have to fix.
My guess is that it's fixed by now, right?

finally
How spoiled am I? I feel, some how, less-than-whole when my e-mail is dysfunctional. It is now up and running perfectly......and all I did was to wait it out. (I tried to go thru customer service, and to their credit, when I hung up with them, I thought they had "fixed" it....but alas, a few minutes later I was proven wrong. Dreading calling them again, I chose to put my head in the sand.) I don't know what was wrong and I don't know what was fixed.
But I am whole again.
